Product information

We design create & manufactor our products with care and have high quality standards. We have a 2 years warranty on all our items.

With the life span of a good battery and under normal usage and room temperature the clock runs for 8-12 months. Since disposable batteries are a burden for the environment, we advise you to use NeXtime Rechargeable USB batteries. Reuse and Recharge for a sustainable future!

You can find the manual on the product page from the clock or you find a full overview of all our manuals here.

If not specifically given, our clocks are not suitable for outdoor use. We cannot be held responsible for any damage which may be caused.

A Radio Controlled clock (often referred to as RC or DCF) is set to an atomic clock by radio signals due to the movement in the clock. This ensures that your clock always displays the correct time and you do not have to change your clock to summer- or winter time anymore. For more information, please read our Blog post.

The Glow in the dark effect can generally last for a maximum of 4 hours. The length of glow relies on many factors but most on how bright the light source near the clock is.
Even if there is light in the room, the location of the clock can affect light absorbance which in turn can affect the brightness and length of glow-in-the-dark.

The brightness of the glow-in-the-dark effect fades off gradually. The glow-in-the-dark luminosity will decrease in approximately 1.5 - 2 years.

I have a problem with my clock

There are a few things that you can try first:

1) Change the battery with a brand new one. Since disposable batteries are a burden for the enviroment, we advise you to use NeXtime Rechargeable USB batteries. Reuse and Recharge for a sustainable future!

2) Make sure your clock is always hung straight against the wall = parallel to the wall (especially when there is a pendulum).

3)Check if the cap is not pressed too deeply, this can affect the way the hands run. To resolve this, gently remove the cap by lightly lifting it upward and out; and then place it back in softly. Test by lifting it up again without using much force, if the cap stays in place, the procedure is done.

This can happen occasionally, especially when there is no glass in front of the clock and the hands are exposed. Be very careful when dusting or unpacking the clock to prevent this from happening. You can solve it, by removing the “second cap” located on top of the hands and then use your thumb and index finger only to softly remove the hands one by one. First hand on the top (it can be a second hand or minute hand), then slowly work down. Last the most bottom one being the hour hand. Hold only the edges of the hands on the area where they are originally connected to the clock with a punched hole. Clean the shaft of the movement and the inside of the punched hole in the hands. Don't use a wet cloth, only a dry cloth. Now, put all the hands back to the clock using the same 2 fingers and holding the same edges of each hand where the punched hole is. You can also check our video to see the procedure.

To help you replacing your movement you please watch our instruction video.

There are different types of movements. To help you find the movement you need please check our NeXtime parts page.

Replacing the movement of an alarm clock is complex. We, like no other, know that a clock can have emotional value. You can always contact us, maybe we can somehow help out!

Please watch the instruction video  here.

Please watch our instruction video on how you can replace the hands.

If you have a problem with a radio controlled clock please check this video.

Please be aware that the time of our NeXtime radio-controlled clocks is broadcasted from Frankfurt (DCF) and is automatically set to Central European Time (CET), which is one hour ahead on UK time.

There is a way to still use your Radio controlled clock in the UK. Please note that this trick is at your own risk, because the clock needs to be opened. You can find the video here.

Please make sure to hang your clock in daylight or to put a lamp on it so it is able to charge during the day. The clock needs to absorb enough light to be able to glow in the dark.
